Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 2026-04-17

1. Our commitment

FinToolSuite is designed to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We believe financial tools should be available to everyone, regardless of ability or assistive technology.

2. What we do to support accessibility

  • Semantic HTML so screen readers can understand page structure.
  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive controls — no mouse required.
  • Visible focus states on inputs, sliders, and buttons.
  • Colour contrast that meets WCAG AA for text and controls.
  • Calculators that work without JavaScript where practical (result may differ).
  • Mobile-first layouts with tap targets sized for touch.
  • Plain-language explanations alongside each formula.

3. Known limitations

We test regularly, but some areas may still fall short of WCAG 2.1 AA:

  • Some complex charts use canvas rendering; where possible we provide the same data in a secondary details list beside the chart.
  • A handful of tools use custom keyboards on mobile; the native keyboard path is available as a fallback.
  • Some older tool pages have denser content than newer pages. We're revising these as part of ongoing content work.

4. Compatibility

The site is tested on recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, with VoiceOver, NVDA, and TalkBack. It should work on any browser released in the last two years. Older browsers may render with reduced styling but core content remains readable.

5. Reporting accessibility issues

If you run into a barrier on any page, please tell us. We aim to respond within five working days and fix high-impact issues within two weeks.

Email: [email protected]
Please include the page URL and a short description of the problem, plus the browser and assistive technology you're using if relevant.

6. Enforcement

If you're not satisfied with our response to an accessibility issue, in the UK you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), or the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland (ECNI) if you live there.

7. Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 2026-04-17. It is reviewed at least every 12 months and updated when significant accessibility work lands on the site.
